Enjoy time on the water aboard MAIA, our Boston Whaler ‘Dauntless 180’, perfectly suited to exploring the beautiful estuaries and coastline around Salcombe. Stable, easy to handle, and great fun for a day on the water, it’s ideal for discovering hidden beaches, cruising up the Kingsbridge Estuary, or dropping anchor for lunch. Available exclusively to Hideaway guests for multi-day hire, giving you the freedom to experience Salcombe from the sea.

Please fill out the form to confirm your booking of MAÏA, letting us know your preferred dates and any specific requirements you may have. She is berthed on the Pontoon in front of the OAP centre, just a short walk from The Hideaway, making access very easy during your stay in Salcombe.

Please note that a Powerboat Level 2 licence is required to rent the boat. We also only rent to people over 25 for insurance purposes. The rental rate is £1,200 for five days, or £250 per day with a minimum hire period of three days. Unfortunately, weather conditions do not affect the rental commitment once the booking has been confirmed.
